Mylor Farm is home to an abundance of fauna, including visiting kangaroos and koalas. For the birders, we have documented over 40 species of birds. We also have a kangaroo reserve on the property which houses our friendly kangaroos. Stroll up the boardwalk path until you find the entrance. There you can help yourself to some feed, and spend a moment getting to know these beautiful creatures. Below you can see exactly how friendly these fellows are!

There are so many incredible wine makers in the Adelaide Hills producing some of SA’s best drops. Have a seat, relax, and enjoy a nice glass of red. Forage for wood during your wanderings for an evening fire — of course also best enjoyed with a local wine in hand. Happy days!

If you want to be active, our vegetable garden is seasonal, and you'd be welcome to help out. We also have further gardens around the house and a secret garden near our treehouse. Why not pick yourself a basket of fresh veggies and herbs from the garden? After that use them to create a farm fresh meal in our modern kitchen and enjoy it in our country dining area.

Walk around and explore the woodlands with its wildflowers. Try your hand fishing from the creek, or bring a dish and pan for gold! Other activities include hiking the Heysen Trail, mountain and road biking, and of course enjoying the local produce including the many country markets, restaurants, and wineries in the Adelaide hills area!
